Philjets joins the Asian Business Aviation Association (ASBAA) and reinforces its influence in the Aviation Industry
MANILA, Philippines – February 23rd, 2015
Carrying on its intention to become one of the aviation sector’s references in the Philippines and to play a growing role in Asia, PhilJets Group has just joined the dynamic aviation association, based in China: ASBAA, the Asian Business Aviation Association.
The association, which represents more than 80 entities around in the region, aims at reinforcing and developing members’ visibility and growth by providing advice and expertise in the Aviation industry. ASBAA presents to the members a platform for communication and actions enhancing Business Aviation access, regulation, safety, public awareness and contribution to their local economy.
The common aspiration of all ASBAA members is to support the aviation industry with knowledge, experience and partnership on complex or current matters throughout Asia, and worldwide.
PhilJets is the 2nd Filipino group, after Aviation Concept, to join the association. By doing so, it reaffirms its intention to become a top business actor in the industry, and the drive for recognition of the Philippines as one of the most mature countries in Business Aviation nowadays. Integrating this association will assert PhilJets as one of the leading spokesperson for Aviation in the Filipino market, and bring to the company valuable sector information, powerful network and extended visibility in the industry-specific airshows and events.
PhilJets complements this membership with an involvement in several other businesses and aerospace associations within the ASEAN region.
In 2013, PhilJets Group joined the Makati Business Club, one of the influential business associations of the Philippines, which aims at promoting Philippines national growth through private sector progress and advises to the Government. It has been PhilJets’s ambition since its incorporation in 2013 to play a leading role in the development of the country, by providing innovative ideas and projects to expand Filipino local and international trade as a whole.
The company is also a distinct partner of the French and European Chambers of Commerce, thanks to its CEO, Thierry Tea who is an active advisor and member of the Philippines-France Business Council, and a Foreign Trade Advisor for France (CNCCEF) since 2009. The ECCP, the Philippines-France Business Council and the CNCCEF offer a wide range of business services and create links and network between companies, organizations and individuals between the Philippines, France and Europe.
Finally, through its affiliation with the Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines (AIAP), PhilJets is also one of the leading patrons locally in its field. PhilJets continuously reinforced its participation in the non-governmental association since it has been warmly welcomed in 2013, to participate in the goal to help members achieve sustainable competitiveness through focused support works, representation and networking services. PhilJets, together with AIAP, are committed to working hand-in-hand to contribute meaningfully for the advancement of Philippine industry and economy at a faster pace.
All those associations are thoroughly service and business oriented, through a common target of promotion of commerce interests and partnerships among companies, one of PhilJets core values.
For PhilJets, as for other firms, be involved in such organizations is also another step closer to the entire ASEAN market, and all its development opportunities.
