#RubyPH: PhilJets Helicopters deployed to Samar to support Medecins Sans Frontieres
Once again, after a close partnership in 2014 for Typhoon Yolanda, Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) and PhilJets fly again hand-in-hand to assess damaged areas around Northern Samar after the rather important Typhoon Ruby (Filipino name: Typhoon Hagupit).
For at least a week, assessment aerial surveys and flight air support will be provided to Medecins Sans Frontières’ teams on the ground using PhilJets 2 helicopters, the AS350 B2 and the EC130 T2.
Other NGOs are also on talks with us for Air Support and light Medevac (Emergency Medical Evacuation, also called EMS) in Samar, Leyte, and Legaspi during the following days/weeks.
Need for airlift or charter to reach those regions? Don’t hesitate to request a helicopter charter quote or call us anytime.
